A voice for the neglected

Subjected to tremendous ridicule and gawking, this young man for many years has walked  a continuous path along the main tourist boulevard in the Cambodian capital city of Phnom Penh looking for anyone kind enough to provide sustenance or even simply say “hello.”  Born with a large tumor connected to his head, attempts were considered to try to remove the tumor but due to blood flow to it it was deemed too dangerous to his life.   This is exactly the type of person Hope For the Silent Voices is called to serve and step “into the gap” for.  The outcast. The neglected.  The abandoned. The exploited.  We are a voice for the vulnerable and assertively live out this charge. We are all born with an innate desire to love and be loved and our interactions with this young man continue to burn away any hesitancies, reservations and passivity towards impacting this world for good.
