Shanta’s Story
This is Shanta. When the Impact Team came upon her at the garbage village she was very sick. The Impact Team took her to the clinic, but her condition was too advanced for them to treat. She was then taken by the team to the hospital where she was diagnosed as being in the final stages of tuberculosis.
Before:
She was admitted to the hospital where she was successfully treated and cured. Today Shanta is a beautiful, thriving young girl attending school.
